We come to your home, measure properly, and ask about how you actually live in each space. No high-pressure pitch — just the conversation that lets us specify properly.

We propose a system sized correctly, with the right brand for your home, the right zoning approach, and the right installation method. The design call matters more than the brand call.

Clear written quote
A clear written quote — not a vague figure. You see exactly what’s proposed, what it costs, and how it’s broken down. Decisions made on full information.

Trade & build coordination
Licensed gasfitters, qualified technicians, electricians. For new builds and renovations we coordinate with architects and builders so the system integrates cleanly with the programme.

Outdoor unit placement
Considered for airflow, drainage, neighbour acoustics, and how it reads from gardens and outdoor living areas.

Clean handover

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. All gas work is carried out by licensed gasfitters with full compliance certification. Electrical work is carried out by licensed electricians. Smart Climate carries full public liability insurance and complies with current Victorian standards across all installations.
Do you do commercial work?
Our focus is premium residential — single homes, considered apartments, and selected mixed-use projects. We occasionally take on commercial work where it aligns with our specification standards, but residential is where we do our best work.
Do you work directly with architects and builders?
Yes — this is a meaningful part of our work. We coordinate with architects on system specification at design stage, and we run alongside builders on programme during construction. We bring HVAC into the build cleanly rather than as a late add-on.
Can you install a brand or model I’ve researched myself?
Often, yes. Bring it to the consultation. If it’s a premium product we can specify and stand behind, we’ll quote it. If we’d recommend something different, we’ll tell you why honestly.
Do you service systems you didn’t install?
Yes. We service and repair across all major brands. Routine servicing keeps systems running efficiently and protects warranty conditions.
How do I book a consultation?

Is there a call-out fee for the consultation?
We’ll cover this honestly at first contact — depends on the scope and location. For most premium residential consultations the visit is at our cost.
How quickly can you start?
Depends on the season and the scope. Replacement installations during winter or summer peak run a longer lead time than off-season work. New builds and major renovations are scheduled around the construction programme. We’ll give you a real timeline at quote.
